Frequently Asked Questions:
- How does the income-based sliding scale model work?
We ask all members to self-certify using a simple 1-page form. Based on that process, you may qualify for a discount on all purchases. When you check out, simply present your card to the cashier to be scanned and your discount will be automatically applied. Simple and easy.
- Do I need to be a member to shop?
No. Everyone is welcome to shop at The Grocery on Broad. To receive discounts and loyalty points, you will need to be a member.
- Does my membership expire?
The same simple process to become a member must be done every 6 months to recertify.
- Do you honor manufacturers coupons, price match or offer senior/military discounts?
No, but your new membership card offers you substantial savings off your entire grocery purchase.
- What is your bottle return policy?
We will gladly return your bottle deposit for brands that are exclusively sold in our store. We do not offer redemption for brands that are not sold at our establishment.
- What is your return policy?
With a receipt, you may return any new, unused item to the store within seven calendar days of purchase. All refunds will be given in the form of store credit. Refunds will not be given for items with no proof of purchase, perishable food items (including live plants), items sold “as is” or as a “final sale.”
- Can I ask for a rain check if an advertised sale item is out of stock during a sale period?
No, merchandise is offered for sale at a stated price “while supplies last.”
- How can I provide feedback or suggestions?
If you have a positive or negative experience, your feedback is always valuable. Please speak to the manager or place a note in our in-store suggestion box.
